The Irish College of English offers this Business English Evening Class at our language schools based in Dublin, Ireland, to prepare students for the BEC exam (Cambridge Business English Certificate Exam) or for a career in business.
Course Focus:
The course covers all aspects of Business English with a focus on exam preparation for the BEC Cambridge exams. It includes writing reports, speaking on the phone, presenting in English, using formal vocabulary etc. so that students have all they need to interact through English in a Business Work Environment, which will open up job opportunities.
Course Level:
It is aimed at students with a good to high level of the English language who are working within an English speaking environment, or who plan to use English in their business working environment, or who wish to improve their fluency to an Advanced level.
The BEC Exam in Ireland:
The Cambridge Qualifications are internationally recognised and are of great benefit when seeking employment or Enrolling for further education courses. The exams are held in University College Dublin, Ireland, in December and June each year. You may also register for these exams at our schools.
Certification:
Business English Certificate (BEC) Awarded at end of course. It will allow students to enter into or progress in the world of International Business/Further Education with a recognised Cambridge Certificate in Business English.
Level:
Students with High Intermediate – Advanced level of English may only attend.
